September 1st, 2014 has seen a new beginning in airport ground services at both Milano Malpensa and Milano Linate. Airport Handling, the newly constituted player in the Milanese marketplace represents enhanced services for customers. For this ever evolving industry there is now a complete solution that maximizes cost effectiveness while also addressing to the specific expectations of Airlines and their passengers.

John Stewart

His extensive professional experience in public accounting, M&A, project finance, negotiations (acquisitions, disposals and mergers of many famous Companies) together with his roles in setting and implementing strategy, building business and managing all aspects of a professional services firm with 1200 people and 20 offices led him to acquire systemic skills and attitudes in management.

He served as Chairman or Managing Director of over 20 companies in the service sector and as a member of various Ernst & Young committees. Since October 2014 he is President of Airport Handling.

Alberto Morosi General Manager
Alberto Morosi

With over 23 years of background in ground handling activities, he's currently General Manager at Airport Handling for which start-up he hardly worked. Joining the airport operator in 1992, he spent his first few years in cargo warehouse and ground handling ramp operations functions.

His following ten years have been spent in leading positions in several operations departments in the ground handling. Such roles gave him a wealth of  experience.  Over the last six years, he served as Operations Manager showing very good attitudes. 

Maria Rosaria Pisano Chief Commercial Officer
Maria Rosaria Pisano

She graduated in Foreign Languages and Tourism Management at Università Cattolica in Milan and has been working in the aviation ground handling business since 1998 where her experience started from operations department. For eleven years, from 2002, she worked at a handler commercial department as contracts and sales key account and then became business development manager.

She is currently Chief Commercial Officer at Airport Handling where she was deeply involved in the start-up process. Her accountability covers both Linate and Malpensa Airports.

Gian Carlo Grassini

He joined Airport Handling in March 2017 after a significant HR experience in multicultural environments where he performed Senior HR Management roles within Utilities and Aerospace multinational companies, before being appointed Country HR Director for an IT world leader firm.

Before joining the HR professional family, he gained a strong ground handling operations experience at Milan Malpensa Airport thanks to his activity at the cargo warehouse, as Ramp Agent and Airside Supervisor. Graduated in Political Sciences, he achieved the European Master in Labor Sciences at Milan University.

Paolo Toselli Head Of Operations
Paolo Toselli

Hired by the Airport Operator in 1982, he began as Ramp Agent and Load Controller, role in which he played for 10 years becoming then Supervisor and, later on, Airport Duty Manager. Thanks to the experience gained in operations, since 2009 he was named Operations Manager for Ramp Agents and Load Control activities.

In Airport Handling, in 2014 he was appointed as Air Side Manager comprehending, besides the aforementioned Ramp Agents and Load Control areas, Loading/Unloading and Baggage Handling System. Currently, he is Head Of Operations at Airport Handling.

Gian Carlo Grassini

With more than twenty years experience in air-cargo warehousing operations in force to a leader Company in Italy where he covered the role of Operations Manager, he joined Airport Handling in December 2018 where currently he is appointed as Head Of Cargo Operations.

He graduated in Marketing and Enterprise Organization with a qualification in Labour relationships and achieved a second level master on Health, Safety and Environment Management at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.

Daniele Renna Chief Financial Officer
Daniele Renna

Daniele Renna joined Airport Handlin in June 2022, in the role of Chief Financial Officer.
He has more than twenty years of working experience in Finance, starting in 1999 as auditor in PriceWaterhouseCoopers and then working for primary Italian firms, including some listed in the Italian Stock Exchange, ranging in various business areas, from aviation to utilities (both Telco and Gas&Power).

He has a degree in Economics.

First A350 Thai Airways at Malpensa 22/11/2016

Last November 17th has seen the inauguration of the first Thai Airways flight operated from Malpensa with an A350 aircraft. In the pics, the Carrier's station staff together with Airport Handling's one and the crew during the celebration moment.

Farewell to A.R.CO.: Alitalia welcomes Sabre! 19/10/2016

Last weekend, Alitalia said goodbye for the last time to its ARCO system moving to Sabre. After 50 years, Alitalia's renewal passes even through this historic event. The concurrence of this change over all Alitalia network led to many challenges and uncertainty in several fields in the last year. The compliments and a big "thank you" go to all those Airport Handling and Alitalia colleagues at both Linate and Malpensa stations who promptly participated in all the different and complex phases of this project since September 2015 bringing it to fulfillment with the cutover last Sunday, October 16th. Once again, Airport Handling shows its ability to work in team with its Customers for the success of both! Dear ARCO... BSOALL!

The new Fringe Benefit Plan established by Airport Handling for the 2016 will start on September 1st. Through it each worker could use a package of flexible benefits and agreements so to have easy prices for products and services for oneself or the family. This plan wants to be an instrument of support to the employees’ income and wellbeing.
